Started providing VPN services in 2009, Anonine has been in this business for a long time. The experience gained in these 5 years is definitely valuable when providing VPN services. They have a team that knows how to cope with issues and knows how to improve the service. Anonine is a subsidiary of a Swedish company named Portlane Networks AB. The company operates as an Internet Service Provider (ISP) and a Hosting provider. Anonine itself is also registered in Sweden.
Pricing & Payment methods
Anonine offers one month, three months, semi-annual and annual VPN packages. You can pay through your PayPal account, with your credit card via PayPal, Payson and Bitcoin. Swedish customers can pay for 1 month services with their mobile phone by sending a text. Unfortunately, only these customers can order service for 1 month. Foreign users have to purchase at least a three month subscription. The prices are quite reasonable as the service allows P2P downloads and provides a no log policy. 1 Month subscription costs 69 Swedish Krona – SEK ($11). The other plans come with a discount. You can save 25% buy purchasing a 3 month subscription for 177 SEK ($28), the semi-annual subscription for 294 SEK ($47) which comes with a 38% discount. The biggest discount is set off for an annual subscription – 50% thus the subscription costs 468 SEK ($75).
Anonine has only 1 server which is in Sweden. To make up for the low quantity of servers, they allow torrent downloads on their only server. Nevertheless, you can still enjoy the VPN features like:
IP change. Your origin IP address will be hidden and only the IP address of Anonine server will be revealed.
Encryption. It will prevent hackers to break in to your computer and steal valuable information.
Your ISP, your government, special agencies will not be able to see your online activity. They will only see that you are connected to VPN and what bandwidth you have used.
Stay secured at public Wi-Fi. When using VPN you will be safe even the prying eyes will try to watch on you.
Remove annoying pop-outs and ads on websites like Youtube for instance.
Anonine does not track their user activity and they do not keep any logs about the user – no traffic data, no timestamps, no IP addresses. Even the billing information is not kept. Only the username, password and user e-mail will be stored at their data-base for VPN authentication purposes.
Refund & Free trial
Anonine offers an outstanding 30 day money back guarantee. A very long period for a user to ask for a refund if the service does not work in a way the user wanted. When the user experiences no issues during the first month of service usage, he can expect there will be no big issues in the future. A nice thing which keeps you away from bad thoughts coming to your mind.
The free trial is offered by this VPN provider. In order to get it, you need to contact their support via e-mail. The trial length is determined on the testing purposes.
Protocols & IPs
Anonine offers two protocols for its’ users. That is OpenVPN UDP and PPTP. As we have noted in our previous reviews, the most secure protocol is OpenVPN. All users should use this protocol. In addition Anonine VPN offers a very strong 2048bit SSL encryption for OpenVPN protocol. For devices that do not support OpenVPN protocol, PPTP is offered as a way out with a 128bit encryption.
Anonine offers a wide range of 15000+ Internet Protocol (IP) addresses as it is a subsidiary of a company that provides an Internet service.
Anonine provides instructions how to connect to VPN with iOS, Android, Windows and Mac. We have missed instructions for Linux, routers and the existence of a custom software but that is just a minor thing which should not affect the service usage heavily.
